Tierrennor #1: Why

I am not a games designer, artist, geographer, or cartographer. I enjoy open source material. when I wanted to start a game I looked around for an open gaming campaign. What I found were lots of closed source, proprietary game worlds. And I get it. For myself and many others the hardest part of world building is the creative development of new ideas and settings. Many choose to protect and possibly monetize their hard work by using copyright and closed content for names, plot lines, maps, and stories. Having given up my delusions of grandeur for Lent, I don’t think this applies to me. I am putting the whole of the Tierrennor project under the CC 4.0 BY. So fold, spindle, and mutilate. I will be posting the processes and sources of what I do and how I do it. I hope you read along.
