Steve’s House Rub January 2022

I keep this on hand for rubs and adding a dash of spice to all kinds of dishes. The measurements are proportional. Just be consistent. I use a 1/4 cup as my base.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Cumin
  • 1/4 cup Onion Powder
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 cup Salt
  • 1/4 cup Dried Jalapeño peppers
  • 1/4 cup Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup Dried Tarragon
  • 1/4 cup Ancho pepper
  • 1/4 cup Guajillo pepper
  • 1/4 cup Turmeric

Instructions

  • Grind all ingredients and mix well.
  • Volume of dried herbs is measured before grinding.
  • Volume of peppers is measured after grinding.
